Hello I am Andrew and both my father and great uncle were seafarers the latter was lost at sea in 1943 and for this purpose I have registered as I need to find out a bit more information. My father who survived WW2 and died in 2001 having served as a Trinity House Pilot after the war did not talk much about his wartime experiences and there are lots of empty spaces that need filling. I will expand further on this another time
