Default Ship's Warrant Officers - RFA Landing Ship Logistics

Hello Merchant Seamen - I was not a merch but served with many on RFA and merchant ships during my 23 years at Marchwood Military Port and other ports around the world. My last job in the army was as Ship's Warrant Officer and Flight Deck Officer on RFA Sir Tristram during 1999. I have served in The Falklands between 1982 and 1998 alongside many great merchant seaman who I still consider friends and would like to contact them to exchange (or recover) many fine memories.

    Default Welcome

Welcome aboard matey. Glad to have you with us, your bound to find seamen who have crewed on the RFA. Back along 74 or 76 sailed in a RFA from Harwich to Denmark on an exercise with the RCT and R.E's to meet up with 2 or 3 Para in Sloveig Holstein. Remember how cramped the bed deck was, but they fed us well. Only aboard around 24 hrs both ways. Anyway enjoy the site and keep posting.
