Hi all
Hi All
I was just looking on google for info on the Boulevard Nautical school and found a few entries that stirred up some old memories,I was there from 1963 - 1966/7 I boarded in various places ,started on Hessle Rd,went to Division Rd and then ended up in Cholmley st,[in the fruit shop].I lodged with Roy LLoyd, had loads of mates,Mike[Nick]Nicholson,Ken Krilley, Cherry B, Dave Schickell and `Binky` who was mentioned in another Blog. I left in 66 and Joined Canadian Pacific, did a stint there and then left and rejoined Hain Norse [P+O ],I left after a coupler of years and transfered into Ferrymasters [part of P+O] to complete an apprenticeship.
I have very fond memories of BNS,I rememnber a few of the teachers, Mr Mahon.Mr Davies and Mrs Alision [wife if Capt Ivan E ] who was the RE teacher..I was a cadet officer for my last year at Bns,my best mate Nick became Cadet Capt, which was of the highest honour at that time. Wuld love to hear from anyone who remembers me.
Look forward to chatting
Best wishes
Keith Hargest [kikidee]
