Hi Couger07
I did my time at the Vindi and when I left I joined the MV Woolwich as a galley boy and left Avonmouth for Canada to load grain, we returned to London if I remember correctly and I sighed for other trip but this time she was away for ten mouths beforeI saw England again, well, with all this money in my pockets all my friends thought was the King of Bishopthorpe Road. I stayed going to sea for the next eleven years.

Did one trip on the Weybridge, saloon steward. I recall serving a party of Russians lunch while berthed in Bremen. Next day they bought her and most of us got sacked and went home.
