Re: Vernon Emergency
I have phoned Vernon's home number to speak to his wife Irene but got the answering system. I have left a message for Irene that the I have been in touch and that this site is informed and if there is anything I can do to help.

Re: Vernon Emergency
I opened my mail today to find a very odd message which appeared to come from Vernon.
It said" I am in hospital with heart attack"
It was so poorly written at first I thought maybe a scam.
Told Brian and left message on answer phone for Vernon.
Just after 1800 hours local time I received a call from Irene who explained it all.
She gave me a message to pass to Brain to post which I believe is in another posting.
I have arranged to send a Get Well/Thinking of you card on behalf of Brian and all site members to Vernon.
Will keep you posted if I hear any more.
Happy daze John in Oz.
