#12 Have also noticed the sticking in other posts as well Vernon. Do you think someone is trying to invade the sanctity of the site. One reads about country’s imposing the likes of false information an such , Maybe could be outside influences ??? JS

Re: Vale Den McGuckin
Den, such a great guy.
Kept in touch with him over the hears via e- mail.
He loved the jokes I sent to him and we had some great talks via the net.
Exchange Christmas cards every year, and such a long name on the street where he lived.
Always closed by saying, 'take care'
Remember sending him a copy of a poem I wrote when a very god friend passed, kit was not long after his wife had passed.
He admitted to me he shed a tear when he read it and would put the copy along with her other items.
He was a guy with a very strong emotional streak and a very caring person.
I will miss him so much, thank you Des for the info.
Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: Vale Den McGuckin
The following is on Behalf and Thanks from our old Member Keith at Tregenna
It is a lovely and respectful little addition to this Thread for our dear friend Dennis!
Thank you Keith.
All respect to yourself. Keith.
Here's what was passed on to all RCNA members about Dennis' passing. To the best of my knowledge there will be no service, but he will be honoured at the Merchant Navy Day commemoration in September. I will still do my best to forward any more information as it becomes available.
