Renia Del Mare, UCl had her in the company for a while as a cruise ship if I recall.

Hi,
I would be interested in seeing the picture as my father sailed on the Reina del Mar and worked down below, I remember him telling me that he was in Cuba when the rebels came down from the hills and he said that one of the rebels let him hold his rifle. I was having a pint with him when he told me this and he just mentioned it as if it was nothing.

Sorry William not really answering your post. But seeing as this thread has been re visited and having read through some of the older posts. John from Oz has it right she did spend time as a UCL vessel.

Reading through the article she nearly became nick named the Curry 7 Rice boat after her first master and Chief Engineer, but he was a Currie and not a Curry.
