Many of us have heard the term,

'As thick as two short planks'

The question has always been, how long and how thick, no one knew the answer.

I think I now have it solved.
Today doing some cleaning up in my garden shed, did it during the first year of the Pandemic so it was a bit of a mess.

There tucked away in a corner I found them, 'Two short planks"

Length, just over 30 cm, thickness 20 mm.

So there it is, problem solved.
