Default F ISH fouund in u.k waters, now and previously

Caught this on the internet. Strange to find the number of different species of whales and sharks that were commonly found in oUr waters years ago.
Now bluefin tuna have returned to our water's but not everyone is happy about their return.

This summer I have spotted Dolphins and Seals in the river Mersey more or less oppostie Cammel Lairds ship yard.
It made me laugh when this Anorak type chap was telling a bunch of school children that this was due to the campaign by pressure groups to clean up the Mersey. I wonder if he actually believed that. It is true that the river is a lot cleaner now than it was 20 or 40 years ago. But me being me I am more inclined to think the likely reason is that a lot of pollution of the river was caused by industry and now most of those industies have gone the river is cleaning itself, and long may it continue. You can actually take a deep breath of fresh air now and enjoy it.
