    Default Memories.

Looking at Charles Spencer being interviewed on itv news today brought me back to the time I had to go to Althorp.
May I ask, how many members on this site have visited Althorp?.

The wife and I went there in 2011 as it says on the entrance ticket. It is some place and of course Princess Diana's Memorial is in the grounds. Must have photographs some where.

I was thinking of applying for the window cleaning job, would be a job for life. On saying that if the old glass is still in there it wont get as dirty as the glass they use today, for some reason dirt and dust sticks to new glass.

Continuing from my # 1 post.-
I had to take a coach load of passengers to Althorp. When I arrived
at the gates of the estate the coach just got through them with two inches clearance on either side. After letting the passengers off, this lady boarded the coach to show me where to park it. Anyway she took me to where the stables were to park. Then she said come with me. She took me to this private room and asked me if I wanted some tea and scones. When the tea and scones arrived, the tea was not in a mug but in a teapot with a china cup and also a china plate of scones and jam. I was treated like a VIP. So there it is how my visit to Althorp turned out.
