    Thanks for that bit Marion.
    My niece born in London where her dad then lived so maybe no mention of it.
    But as with much history of Ireland at that time there is some mysteries around it all.
    Lot of 'stories' emerged and still do in parts.
    My now long gone sister in la husband was one of those who could tell 'stories' about so much that occurred, some true, but some just myths.
    A lot depends on which side of the fence many sat, some land owners were doing well with UK rule, but many residents did not.
    Like many Irish tales and stories there will always be differences in them.
    But like it or not Ireland is still a most welcoming and pleasant country, gets better with locals the further south you go.
