Parts of Melbourne were shaken by a 3.8 magnitude earthquake that hit near Sunbury in the city’s north-west late on Sunday night.
Geoscience Australia confirmed the quake occurred at 11.41pm. Thousands of people contacted the agency to report they had felt the shaking, but there were no immediate reports of injuries or serious damage.
Residents as far as Hawthorn, in the city’s east, reported feeling the impact. The ABC reported tremors had been felt as far north as Bendigo and as far south as Hobart.

    Hi Vernon.
Maybe it was connected to the Volcano in Mexico, stranger things have happened.

Vernon, thanks mate we are fine.
Here we are used to them, Terri heard it.
I did not go to bed until about 23.30 hours and fell into a deep sleep, did a long drive Sunday, but not sure if maybe in my sleep I may have and thought it was part of a dream.

However a cosmetologist on radio said it was a 3.1 at a depth of 3.8 Klm and the epicenter according to his instruments occurred in Craigbourn about 20 Klm from Sunbury.
The media put the figures the other way around.
But know what they are like, in one in Christchurch Boxing day 2010, not the best of experiences.
Then in 2014 we felt a shudder one evening, again in 2016 up country there was one where we were and last year one again not far from here.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.
