Policeman in Cooma suspended for tasering a 95 year old woman approaching him and a colleauge holding a knife, she was using a zimmer frame at the time!

she could have pinned him down with the zimmer while she stabbed him.

You really have to wonder what this world is coming to, a classic example was recently a school board had an upcoming career day, students bringing their fathers to outline their work. One father was a police officer, he was informed he could not attend in uniform, no problem he would go in civvies, no he was not welcome as being a police officer he might upset the new immigrants who do not favour the police... These people forget when the sh..e hits the fan who do the school call..Then a second school board adopted the same agenda.... This has really upset a lot of people and has reached the dizzy heights of the provincial elected ministers, including the premier who inturn directed the minister of education to rap their fingers and change their attitudes and rescind the decission forthwith.... These are the same people who want to defund the police.... it boggles the mind....

I live one street away from the nursing home in question, I can't say what happened as no one has been informed, but I do know the woman in question is no frail old lady in the sense of the word. At 85 for her birthday she did a parachute jump, she has been on the TV and in the papers for her exploits doing all kinds of things, so what would her dementia riddled mind have been thinking. The police here in Cooma are great, not the quick draw MagGraws;very courteous. After the shootings of those Police in Queensland and the recent stabbing to death of a Paramedic, I'm not surprised that something like this has happened. No one knows just what went on. I heard the ambulance go past our house then; a little later a police car went flying past siren on, so something out of the ordinary was taking place.

#11 Well I’ve got a zimmer Tony and is the first thing I would use to pin my adversary against a convenient wall, ask him to stay there and then beat him to death with my walking sticks. First though I would tell him or her I was averse to shots of electricity to my nervous system in the hope he/she believed me and kept it in their holster. Cheers JS

I discovered today that yesterday here in Oz is IDAHOBIT day.
No nothing to do with the Hobitt in Lord of the Rings, no a bit more sinister.

Add that to the 'Drag Grannies' reading to kids at school and telling them they can be boys or girls depending on their choice.

So now when you get a child it may not be the one you want, but that can no w be fixed.
