Ship featured in £10 poms
After some careful wording to find out what ship was used in the above programme in my search box.
I came across several pictures of the programme ,the camp and the buses used.
Also an image of the ship, it was the S.S.ORION of Orient line.
It seems they used old movie film of the said ship with a ficticious name "THE FAIRMORE".
To find out more type into your search box(TV PROGRAMME £10 POMS )

#1 I did a trip on Orion December 1961 as br carrying women and children from Italy and Greece, the men had travelled earlier, apparently no gender mixing then. From Tilbury to Sydney was the worst six weeks of my life, which included a not very merry Christmas.
Gilly.
