But like it or not there is some truth in all of this.
Does NATO stop conflict, yes but only with their contribution nations, UN, is it any good?
NATO, North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, so where does it fit with the remainder of the world?

There was a time when USA was considered to be the world's policeman, is it still?
USA could well do more to end the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine but choses not to, bit like the Vietnam war, north and south was USSA and Russia just using Vietnam as the battle ground.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

John , do you think that there is any chance of peace between Russia & Ukraine ? seriously the only way they will cease hostilities is when there is regime change in Russia.

My take on it is this. Putin and his pals have stolen Billions from the Russian economy and Russian people. They have conned the Russian people for years while the (Oligarchs) Putins select group of pals get richer or executed for failing to toe the line.

The Russian people have been fed lies for years but with social media they were likely starting to cotton on. The last thing old Validmir wanted was the masses becoming restless. So let's start a war as a distraction. So he shutdown western social media (as best he could) told the Russian people the big bad Western nations are threatening us (NATO) that's why we have this special military operation in Ukraine.

Putin does not get a win in Ukraine soon he will end up like the Romanovs, cold damp cell and a bullet in the back of the head and it will be one of his inner circle will do him.

Putin said no more NATO along Russian borders, well that went well. I wonder has he passed on the news about Finland & Sweden yet?

Look at the west similar thing going on run by a handful of money men.
Just treat the population like mushrooms keep them in the dark and feed them tish.

Difference is in the west we get fed a better quality of tish.
