Re: Ev costs
News on the net said that they were being put on stand by, so someone is having a lend of someone.
As to the oil companies, yes I also read that bit, but if they are so concerned then why are they continuing to build new servos?
Go back to your school boy days and recall what your science teacher may have told you, 95% of all Co 2 is naturally occuring.
Look at the DAVOS meeting today, oil companies invited to attend as the majority of nations still say they have an important part to play.
It is estimated some $1.25 trillion will be invested in new oil developments over the next two decades.

Sorry should have said 'additional three etc', I do try not to give mis-information. However it ia quite ironic that nearly all the wind turbine blades produced in China are produced in factories who get their power from coal fired power stations,
Talking about misinformation according to one newsreader this morning, turbine blades are shipped all the way from China on oil tankers, I kid you not! Never been guilty of that type of misinformation Vic.

Re: Ev costs
Yes Ivan, and here in Oz we supply them with most of the coal they use in those power stations.
News today about the number, so far 20, turbines that have fallen over in Canada, Germany and a few others.
Little wonder, some are taller that the Statue of Liberty and strong winds, poor foundations brings them down.
