    Default What recession

Here in Melbourne a pleasant day with temperature a mild 39 degrees, could reach 40 and maybe 43 upcountry.
Sitting on my lounger in the courtyard sucking on stubbies, an Oz way to deal with such conditions.

In the news, UK has managed to escape for now a recession which the experts say will come soon.
Growth for the December quarter was at 0.5%.
Much of this growth attributed to the World Cup.
During this period sales of alcohol hit a new record.

So there we are, to ensure the UK does not go into recession just increase your drinking, I am sure with all the experience of such you can do it.

Unlike Lilly the pink who invented mecomical dispound you can invent UK elbow bending recognition.

For those of you with a Chinese bent, January 22nd is the start of the new Lunar year, a time of celebration for the Chinese and many other Asian countries.

It will be the year of the Rabbit.

    Eh, What's up Doc
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Strange thing about non alco beer.
I drove over to visit in-laws before Christmas, (we usually get a cab and have a good feed of beer) but this time no cabs available. Sat in the club drinking non alco beer thinking "this is nice beer". After a couple of hours I felt half p***ed, and when we walked outside I was sure I was. But, the second I got into the car it all went away, weird or what. My bro-in-law recons it's a psycho thing with non alco drinking if you're not used to it, you react to those around you.

I will occasionly have alco free if like you I am nominated driver, but after a max 2 it becomes boring. I quite often just have a Soda water and lime. I find it very refreshing. Thinking about giving this Gordons alco free gin a try. But that will wait until summer as for me gin is a warm weather drink.

In an Irish bar last year, I was drinking Heineken the real stuff as that was all they had.
My nephew has a problem so does not drink, so it was a case of one real pint and one imitation.
