That fox looks as though it never had four legs, amazing to see though.
We had a fox once, a vixen. She would spend much of her time in our garden, but didn't live there. We fed her every day for several years, but she was getting food elsewhere as well. She would have a few cubs after each Christmas and bring them to see us and play all day in the garden. She would often come into the house and lay next to my wife's chair, or creep upstairs to get my attention if I left the back door open.
Several times she was injured, and I'd ask the vet how to treat her, it usually worked. She finally got bitten very badly on her face and heat, but no medicine could cure her infections, and she went off one day and never returned.
I have pictures of her sitting in the garden next to our cat, and us sunning ourselves next to her. I'll see if I can insert a picture.
Wonderful few years while it lasted.

Don't seem to be able to add a photo, never mind.

It is amazing how animals adapt to the situation.
As to the food being put out and not coming back, maybe she is a fussy eater?

When living in London my niece had one that came regularly to the house, not fearful of humans.
Maybe eat a few in its time.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
