According to the latest news from UK this morning Sunak has already got 100 support with Boris at about 84.
With 357 members it will need just over 100 to win.

But funny how some cold places are not that cold.
In Norway 2019 in early July with 24 hour daylight went as afa north as you can on the main land some 260 klm inside the artic circle.
Sun shine and about 8 degrees C with a wind chill factor of about minus 5.
Shorts, short sleeved jumper and sandals, felt fine while most of the pother people dressed up like Eskimos.

There is a perception amongst many that if you are in a country that gets cold it is cold all the time, not true

Just got my letter today my £500 will be in the bank November/December. I will give it to my grand children as they will have to be paying it back to HMG in tax for years to come. I don't need it.

Perhaps James, you should save some of your £500 from the House Of Plenty to save for a rainy day.

Forget what you read in the news, go look for the truth your self and find it.
The media of all kinds only tells what will sell copy, not the truth.

But madness prevails, our state dictator tells us we will be all renewable energy by 2035!!!!!.
Speaking with a lady I know from Jo'Burg, she is going there on Friday for some time to see family, South Africa has gone renewable mad, mad is as much as for two to three hours a day there is not enough power available.

The news as she told me told the public the wonders of renewables, but not like the wonder of when will the power come back on.

Pure madness to rely on just wind and sun to give the power we need.

Been like that all over in South Africa for some time now John, Power outages are a common thing nowdays, and all have learnt to live with it!
But life goes on and seems that they get through with little effort anyway, so as now all they can do is wait and hope that something good comes along to stop all this Power outages!
    Cheers

Cape Town is bad too , as the Giant Power Station Koeberg which supplies most of Cape Town is in a bad way! Nuclear Plant it is!
My late Brother in Law worked there for some time, and the stories he told me were frightening!

Vernon, if the feral ad state govs have their way we too will be having regular blackouts.
It is not possible to shut down all the regular power sources and replace with just renewables without and solid back up.
Batteries are fine to as point but not the long term solution.

So mae as you live up in the hills I suggest you buy a few kero lamps, bundles of candles and some thermal undies.
You may well need them come next winter.

According to the news, gas tankers are anchored off in the EU, their storage is really topped up, and we have a couple ourselves. Because the weather is so mild, we are not using the usual amounts, plus we are being more careful.
