    Default Artic Blast

Well just ending the Winter Months now, and we get a last hopefully blast from the Artic last Night!
Wind and quite a bit of Snow here too.
Believe a lot of the State copped it, so would be pretty and White all over Today!
Temps were down here in Blackheath to -3 but felt a lot colder with the Wind Chill Factor!

All very nice but have had quite enough of the cold this Winter and part of last Years Summer that was no Summer at all.
But all good Today Sun is out and hopefully as said we may have seen the A--End of all this for a few Monts anyway till next Winter!
    Cheers

Been of line for a few days comp problems. But as Vernon said, it's been the same down here with temps down to minus 10 , snow two days ago, now this morning frost as heavy looking as the snow, but I think a lovely day coming up. Can't complain, otherwise Cappy will be on to me a winging Pom.

Down here in Melbourne we have had one of the coldest winters for some time.
Heavy frosts such as have not been seen for almost 20 years.
Record snow on the alps and other high ground, all despite the warning from a climate guru who told us in 2001 we would never see snow again on the Victorian alps.
    Wonder where he is now?

Topsy turvy world, and here in UK highest temp ever recorded, and even here on the coast it has hit 33 deg, but no complaints from me, makes a change to have a summer.Back now in Autumn to 21-22 s, so still nice.

I am always a bit suspicious when they day the highest ever recorded.
Recording methods before 1948 were very different to those of today.
It was common practice here in Oz for the local post master to post the highest for the day.
Problem there was where the temperature was taken from and where the thermo was kept.
Very often just hanging on the veranda where he could see it with ease.
Some of the figures would be very sus.

Well they are predicting a wet Spring and Summer, but today we can forget about it all as it's a lovely mildly warm day with clear sky.

Can blame it on those fecking pommies they have worn the current bun out just like they did the year before. Looks like another miserable cold summer for us. Might have to go back just to get a bit of bronzy in lol
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.
