    Smile new device re tyers

On a recent visit to shields i was talking in the street to a true mate ....as we chatted he was looking at my car and stated i think one of your tyers loks a bit low ......now if there is one thing that pees me off it is going to a garage or supermarket car park and fannying about to do four tyers .....the bloody things always run out before the job is done and its not a likeable task in winter when it is peeing down or snowing ....any way my buddy geordie from shields said hold a minute and then came out with a device like an electric drill same shape same size.....asked me what the tyre pressure should be then just attached it to the tyre ...it first showed what pressure was in the tyre he then just adjusted the monitor pressed the device starter and of it went up to the needed pressure .....so simple ..i got home looked up hand held automatic cordless tyre inflator and chose the one i wanted called Air Hawk ....65 quid up to 150 psi...probably the best buy i have hadfrom ARGOS ....now just done pats tyers and the grandkids have all used it in the last few days ......the best buy for cappy IF YOUR JOINTS ARE ACHY ITS A PIECE OF CAKE.....R 683 532......PS I HAVE NO SHARES IN THIS COMPANY HONEST LOL

Watch he doesn’t try and sell you his old tyre pumper up first Graham . The bicycle pump he used to use , it should have gone with the bicycle when he sold it last year for 136 pounds 3/9d. The song he won’t admit to singing on waking up is Money Money Money a Rich Mans World. Cheers JS

For years I have always had a digital tyre inflator run off the 12volt socket in the car ( previously it was the cigarette lighter ).
Last one I had to buy was £25 from Wilko.

Yes,they're very good.I used to get stressed going to the garage, finding a 50p coin to put in the machine, then dragging the hose round and over the car to do each tyre, and the spare before it ran out and robbed you of another 50p,whilst all the time a queue of other tyre inflator hopefuls glared at you ..

So nice to do them in your own drive!

still have the cigarette lighter in my 05 reg Toyota Corrolla T3 sport.
The car seems to go on & on & on, hopefully not tempting fate there.

Have had one of those Tyre inflators for along time now cappy, always carry it with me ( Plugs into Cigarette Lighter) works well too.
Also carry a Kit for Puncture repair , a must in case and its quite easy to use as well. Funny just last Week i had a bleedin Screw in my tyre and on getting home just popped it out and fixed the leak!
All you Lads should keep these two items with you in the Car at al times!
    Cheers

    Hi Cappy.
Still ripping you off there then, If my tyres are soft and since I have had this car. they like me have never had a soft one. I just call in any garage and use the air hose for free, Its like our petrol, cheaper than water.

#9 When we first came here in 1991 you didn’t have to get out of the car in some of the garages , they would put the fuel in the tank, check your tyres and pump up if necessary and wash your windscreen all courtesy of the garage? All you paid for was the fuel. Which was then about half the price of the UK. JS
