Police in Durham can't chase criminals even when they are standing still. A boss and his deputy travel a couple of hundred miles from their head office for drinks and a meal with a number of complete strangers in an office at a time of strict lockdown rules yet the police say they didn't break any rules yet a guy who attended a birthday party in his own office and residence gets a fine for that.
Does the police forces throughout the country apply different rules to different classes of people?

Re: Policeman in Gloucestershire
Dominic Cummings and Barnard Castle.
This was from that well known unbiased news paper The Sun.
BORIS Johnson faced down Cabinet anger and stuck by top aide Dominic Cummings who he said showed "integrity" for protecting his family.
The PM said he had cleared his most senior adviser of any wrongdoing and branded his actions “sensible and defensible”.
Anyway if police forces want to go green save money of cars and give them a push bike.
