This is the time of year where we usually hang out string bags of nuts for the parrots Cappy. The only trouble is the black Cockatoos try to take advantage of the Bonny coloured red and green other breeds. They make short work of the nuts and if not there are quick to remind you by cawing in the back yard . However if the buying of the nuts interferes with my happy hour money , they will be going hungry this year , they will have to look for some other backyard and some muggings to feed them. winter is nearly here down to the twenty’s during the day and daresnt look at the temperature at two in the morning on my usual visit to house of ablutions . Until the sun comes up about 6 . You know that big orange ball in the sky 240 times bigger than the earth that you don’t see too often in Yorkshire or even South Shields , they say it only shines on the righteous. Cheers JS

    Correct John,
It has burnt the bald patch on my head, so I must be righteous.

Winter will be here in about five weeks.
But until then we are having a good fall so far.
The birds are always looking for food, we put out seed, bread, meat scraps such as bacon rind and met trimmings.
The big Australian Ravens take the most but the cheeky little Blackbird, who sings nearly all day gets his fair share.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

Likewise here Des, very cold in the Mornings and Evenings now, but Today we had a Glorious Day , be it that we had it spoilt a bit by the Wind!
Next Two days are predicted to be good Sunnt as well but not very high Tops!
On Wednesday i have to go to Lithgow, another cold place to see my Eye Specialist for the post op check.
But things seem to going quite well, so thumbs up all will prove to be in order! Mmmmm???
