    Default Electric Cars

    Story in local papers.
A guy buys a second hand Merc. with 59k miles on the clock. He only has it a few months battery packs in. Quote by garage for replacement £15k.
So beware in buying electric vehicles.
Apparently battery not covered by warranty.

Volvo Sweden put out a statement last month.

Our EV need to cover some 75,000 miles before they become emissions free.

This is based on the emissions required to manufacture the batteries.

But by that time the battery may well need replacing, they do not last forever.

    In the news today.

Global output of EV is expected to be in the order of some 6 million this year, rising to 7.2 million by 2023.

How many do we need to get every one into one?
