Re: You cannot turn pigs into people
As Del Boy would say "What a Plonker" LOL
Where we live here in the Blue Mountains we get Helicopters all the time night and day when there is someone in strife, most all Residents here are so used to it , makes no impact on us at all.
And those poor Guys and Gals that Fly them sure have a hard task in the Rugged Mountains Areas here! Seem some close shaves with the Helicopters trying to get into a spot to get as close as they can to rescue a Person or People!
As my House is only some half a Kilo Meter from the Cliff Face Lookout the Copters are very low when coming over!
Great life savers !!

Well Keith, it's a good job they don't live near me. We are on the flight path for North Sea installations, some seem to fly rather low at times. On occasions with cliffs near by search & rescue can hover around at any time.

Re: You cannot turn pigs into people
WE get one twice a day over us from the Air wing of the Police, and two a day from a very wealthy business man who goes day.
Many years ago we lived next door to a civilian who flew helicopters for the Police.
0200 hours one morning and there it was hovering over the house.
When I asked next day what was that all about he said it was his birthday and the other pilot was just saying happy birthday.
Needless to say he did not get a happy one from me.
Cannot turn pigs into people but it can be done the other way, and then they breed

Happy daze John in Oz.
