    Default Media

Not meant in any way to be Political.
Watching the news and the so called Political interviewers interview politicians of which ever party. They ask a question, before the answer is given they are asking the next question, and so on and on.
The other piece of news, is the alleged shortage of gas and electricity in the UK.
Papers quote different wholesale prices for gas, use different ways of portraying the cost.
A fire took place at a substation used to import export electricity from France, according to the Media this cable will not be fully restored until next year, leading to a possible shortage of electricity, reams and reams have beenwritten on this subject.
In the past two days the Norwegian interconnector has gone live allowing the UK and Norway to share electrical power. The cable has the same capabilities as the one damaged by fire.
Media response, one paragraph, no mention of the amount of power that it can provide.
Food shortages according to the Media, super market shelves are empty and we will be foraging for food shortly, around here there is no empty shelves all markets are full.
    Wonder who feeds the media?

Dead right Terry, the media have a lot to answer for, how much of this last petrol fiasco was media lead, they are capable of firing up public panic any time they want, be it petrol, toilet paper, sugar or what ever, kt

Here in Oz we have the virus but according to the media we have the great plague of destruction the way it is reported.

However if they told the truth, or even a bit of that many would take no notice.
The more horrific the story the more people will look in.

Most media have to satisfy subscribers of some kind, be they advertisers or others.
If there is no shock news no one looks in so the advertisers message is not seen.

But if you really want to start a great story put it on Fakebook.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.
