TV Sound Tracks

Had the same test a few times Louis the same as a lot on here. There is a certain standard for normal hearing ,sonar operators are a bit above that level it’s the ones with exceptional hearing and can point the finger what the noise is probably between different whale and dolphin species and other sea clutter . I thought underwater telephones was a joke at one time until had to use one and it’s surprising how clear it can be , noise can travel through different density’s of water and can be quite clear and amplified considerably .JS

There is a great push here in Oz for all to have hearing tests.
Gov is offering free hearing aids to many.
I suffer from tinitus and when I tried it they could not work out what was wrong, why was I pushing the button before the sound?

But I think hearing aids, unless you are half deaf and my hearing is still excellent, do nlot take them.

Bit like glasses, I started with reading glasses but as my optician told me once you start with them the eyes become reliant on them and do not improve any time soon.
I now have them for reading, driving and watching TV, three different strengths.

Lewis, you mean multi focals, no bloody way.

My driving ones are also sunnies and the ones for TV have a tinted lens.

No John. Lewis does mean varifocals, they are also light sensitive so change from light to dark and adjust to the light your in, no need for sunnies. Perhaps a visit to the opticians may be in order to catch up with the modern world. Once you've got used to them you'll never regret it.
