Re: Death penalty
One of the biggest problems in the justice system in the UK is the review boards , probation service. Also we have the problem of the left hand not telling the right hand what they are doing. A classic example is Usman Khandick head.jpg he is the A hole that killed two people in Fishmongers hall attack in London. He was released on the say so of some so called panel of experts who said he was no longer a threat. At the time of his release he was still a person of interest to MI5. They were not informed about his release so he could at least be kept under surveillance He was a radicalised basket case, he even spent time in the company of these two scum bags Michael Adebolajo & Michael AdebowaleMichael-Adebolajo-and-Mic-011.jpg who murdered young Lee Rigby.
Usman Khan was attending some meeting along with other recently released prisoners no doubt to discuss and assist in their rehabilitation. He ended up attacking and killing two innocent peopleskynews-jack-merritt-saskia_5349990.jpg in the hall. He got outside and was trying to escape. Several of the other ex prisoners gave chase and brought him down on London bridge. One used a Narwhal tusk to stab him with and another discharged a fire extinguisher. The police arrived and shot the bastard , some reports say 20 times? He was supposed to have had an explosive vest on him but this was a fake. In my mind those so called experts that said he was no longer a threat to society should be up in court for Aiding and abetting in murder of the two young people that Khan killed.

Re: Death penalty
The one who killed Lee Rigby who lost a tooth in a fight in gaol was awarded £20,000 for the loss of a tooth.
My brother and I were involved in a double murder in Liverpool, inquiry, and I was beaten up by a bent copper, the front door on our house was smashed open in a police raid.
George Kelly was hanged, Charles Connolly was given ten Years in Wakefield, I found the real killer in Melbourne 6 years later.
A few years later with George Skelly author of the book "CAMEO CONSPYRACY" and Lou Santangelly we proved the two men Innocent and cleared their names, unfortunately both men were dead by this time.
SO I AM AWARE OF WHAT IT IS LIKE TO HAVE THE WRONG PERSON HANGED
But there is no Deterrent so hundreds of innocent people are being killed every year.
Bring back the Lash for minor crimes Pain cures a lot
A friend looked after Ian Brady, the Moors Murderer who killed at least 7 children., He was not a Warder but a Nurse.
in Ashworth "Hospital" on Merseyside for the criminal insane
He said He could have anything he wanted, nothing was denied
Porno films and magazines, TV in his room, a computer ,
they are not "Prisoners" but patients.
It cost us tax payers over £5,000,000 to keep him in luxury.
A hang man`s rope a few shillings.
A life for a life, the choice is theirs, Dont want to be Hung,??
then do not kill. SIMPLE.

Re: Death penalty
re; post 7. Two 10 year olds were murdered by their School Caretaker, Ian Huntley, in Soham in Cambridgeshire in 2002.
Life should mean life.
Some of these Parole Boards are not in the real world.
I was asked to be the Teacher Representative on a Social Services Review Panel. I declined. 13 people discussing a Mother's drug abuse and refusing to take the children into Care where they would be looked after (clothed and fed; just for starters ) Give the Mother another chance .She already had several. Children came way down the list.

Re: Death penalty
At the start of this thread I said I had mixer feelings about the death penalty, my reason for that is cases where innocent men have
been hung, e.g Timothy Evans was hung for the murder of his wife and bababy daughter, John Christy was in fact the culprit and
also murdered several other women including his own wife, he was deservedly hung for his crimes. Derek Bentley was under
arrest on ground level, his partner in crime Christopher Craig was on the roof of the wharehouse when he shot and killed PC Miles.
A policeman had been murdered, in those days that meant somebody had to pay for it, Craig did kill the Policeman but at sixteen
years old was too young to hang, whereas Bentley at nineteen wasn't, at the scene, Bentley had called out "Let him have it Chris",
Bentley always said that he meant, "give him the gun". the prosecution made much of those words and Bentley hung for Craig's
crime, those cases were in the 50s. Harry Roberts was a career criminal, in 1966 he shot and killed three policemen, he went on
the run and eventually was found hiding in Epping Forest, my brother in law was took part in the manhunt. Roberts was guven a
lfe sentence and is now a free man, when I came ashore I worked for a whle as a milkman, based at the United Dairies deot in
Wood Green, some years after I had left, I read that the milkyard had been robbed and the assistant manager was killed by a
shotgun blast, he was a very nice man, there was a very narrow stairway leading to the office, he was climbing the stairs just as
the robbers came out of the office, they saw him as blocking their escape and killed him, I also read an account of Harry Roberts
being the perso that planned the robbery from his prison cell. The more I think on it I do think there is a good case fore restoring
the death penalty, as for being gory etc, to me that's part of the deterrent, it would give me great pleasure to see those two
cowardly animals that murdered Fusiier Lee Rigby, dangling from the end of a rope, "PROVEN BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT", cheers.

Not many i agree but still?? However if one is found Guilty 100% of the Crime, then yes the Death Penalty should be brought back. Only thing is i feel that Hanging although may deter others when seeing it, is a bit gory for these Modern days ,so would go with the Lethal Injection way, or possibly the Gas Chamber ??
Cheers Gory Subject LOL
Well, yes I soppose all methods of execution are gory but that might serve to give the miscreants food for thought before they commit their crimes,
the Guillotine, firing squad and lethal injections, they've all got the same downside for the receipiant, how about "Old Sparky" the smell of burning
flesh first thing in the morning, reminds me of breakfast, have you seen the Green Mile movie ? Tom Hanks, cheers.
