    Indeed Keith T
Have been watching this on the News and also a Video that someone had taken from Buitenkant Street which is quite far away, but still looked very close!
Its a very sad tragedy as that is a very old Uni and has many old things of some value. The old Windmill a lovely Structure all gone , sad sad sad!
Used to go there many times in my days as it was a beautiful place with lovely Gardens etc. The Building itself was a magnificent structure!
Thank you for the Thread though appreciate it, i just hope that it was not Arsonists who started it!
We will have to wait and see what the findings are.

Quote from BBC news site - "After the initial investigation, it is surmised that the origin of the fire is from a vacated vagrant fire," it said.

That could well be the case , as around there are mant places that Vagrants live and make Fires for themselves to keep warm, so if it was then its time now (Too late i know) to keep these Types out of the Area. But its a hard task .
    Thanks for the update

So sad to see so much history destroyed in this manner.
Many years to collect and all gone in a few moments.
Hopefully the building will survive, it is from what I remember a very good one.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
