Lewis, that and many other suitable systems can be used.
But the problem is not climate change or global warming, it is the pressure applied to various govs around the world by those who will gain from any change.
The electric vehicle is one such venture, Elon Musk and a few others will make a killing from this.
We have an ex PM who has invested millions in solar power, he will make a lot from this.

WE now have the smart electric meter and also a water one soon to be rolled out.
The electric was developed here in Oz but no gov was interested so he took it to UKI.
They took it on so the gov here then decided to use it.

We are told that with this meter we can control our power usage, problem is no one understands how to use it, but the power companies can now charge you by the half hour during peak use and no cost for meter readers.
This is how thing work, not what you know but who.

Just talking on these matters i was thinking on something that i am sure was posted a long time back??
Anyway my Brother In Law worked Years back on a Plant in Durban Suburb out of Town, it was a Plant where they made Furfol (Not sure on the spelling) from Sugar Cane and was or still is used t Run Cars. Is this still going and why if so dont they start massive such plants over the World where Sugar Cane is grown in abundace, like South Africa, Natal having enormous Fields of it.?

Doc what you describe is basically a Bio Mass fuel. The most common one is Ethanol which is used widely as an additive to Unleaded petrol, certainly here and through out the EU. At the pumps you will see a sign which will say something like E5 or E10. I have even seen in Germany E100 these numbers refer to the % of Ethanol added to a petrol, at least that is my understanding. Fuels like this are as a rule okay in modern engines but on some older models a fuel with a high Ethanol content can cause damage to seals, Vitriol "O" rings and some Plastics can break down if using high ethanol content fuels. I have biker mates who will never use petrol that has ethanol added , well they do not have a lot of choice these days. Mind you some of them will only use Super Unleaded instead of Premium Unleaded, they reckon it affects performance . Mind you my observation on some of them it is not the fuel that is affecting their performance , it is usually their own inability on how to ride, but eh!!! everyone thinks they are a Joey Dunlop:)

We are losing the Amazon rain forests and the deforestation in places like Sumatra , Indonesia in the quest to grow more Palm oil, or other crops!! for use as Bio Mass fuels. Wild life is being destroyed, the Orangutan is becoming an endangered species because of the loss of Habitat along with other wild life in these regions. Even in the Amazon region people are being forced from their land.
Here in Europe they make Bio Mass fuels from the likes of Corn, Sun Flower seeds and Rape seed oil.

We are destroying plant species in rain forests and elsewhere that have not been seen before. I am not exactly a tree hugger but I believe every plant has a purpose on this planet, be it food or perhaps use in the world of medicine. Who knows perhaps there is a plant out there that is the answer to Cancer treatments or even Covid , who knows. No one causes more harm and destruction to this planet than man kind.

This is a subject i posted some time back, we in the affluent western world add Ethanol to our petrol to give a cleaner burn and less pollutant atmosphere, this at the expense of the poorer nations burning the forests down to grow more plants to keep us breathing a cleaner air. This causing massive amounts of smoke and choking all around. The world is full of selfish f***wits. kt

CNN america is in the process of being sued by a group called veratis whom have on film one of cnn top staff stating that they stopped trump regaining office by their reporting false accusations, and put biden in office by once again not reporting bidens failings including the blackout on bidens sons bribery and illegal dealings involving joe biden it seems biden junior left his laptop to be repaired and once the guy repairing it saw the illegal dealings. pornography and drug paraphernalia took it to the FBI whom sat on the imformation until after the elections.
the official working for CNN is on tape stating now the election is over, Zucker head of CNN is now going to concentrate on the climate change policy.
