TV Boxes
I have always bought these costly things to record HDMI TV Programmes, and most of course work well.
Last Week my HDMI Humax Set Top PVR Box gave up the ghost, and i was rather dismayed, as i had a few good Movies Stored on it.
Anyway it wasnt the end of the World, so though i would get yet another Humax, as it did serve its purpose!
However as it happened, i though i would first just shop around on the Net, to see if there was something a little cheaper.
Well i was more than surprised but also sceptical about one i found that said it would Record HDMI and has the EPG plus other features, why you ask.
Because it only costs a mere $35 that included postage!!
So it arrived two days later from Amazon, i quickly set it up on my TV and wallah!! What a terrific Picture and all other features for that small price!
The only thing is that it does not record on to an Internal Drive, it uses only a USB connection, which to me is fine as i have two other External USB connection Hard Drives, the one i have connected to this new small HDMI Box is a 2 TB , so it will have plenty of space for Movies!
Its good too as one can move it around to other TV sets within the House or take the External Drive with you if you want to show a special Movie or anything else you have on that Drive. Brilliant!
A great little find at a great price! I am elated! I am ordering another Today so as i can set it up in the Front Room with the other TV, so we will now have three TV's that i can record on, the Main one in the Back TV Room is Foxtel Connected, so has its own Hard Drive .
Cheers
