Re: Alcohol, love it or hate it?
One cook we knew made a brew using yeast, surgical spirts and pineapple skins.
But when you are in need any thing is better than nothing.

Re: Alcohol, love it or hate it?
Those who are T-Total do not live any longer than those who have a sociable drink, for them it just seems longer
Let's face it those who live a life of Celibacy(Priests)!!! Anybody ever meet a Priest that did not drink?
The mob islims maybe if they had a few Irish pubs directly outside the Mosque and popped in for a Guinness and a chat, they would wise up and enjoy the Craic,
Also the odd bacon butty might improve the attitude.
The Orthodox fellas in Tele Aviv they have concerns about Alcohol being Kosher or not.

Re: Alcohol, love it or hate it?
It is there for all who want or need it.
I see at mass now no wine, are the priests afraid of encouraging alkis?
I have no problem with drink, can go 12 hours without if needed.
