well the French have a very severe justice system (depending who you are), Sarkozy the ex president has been found guilty of corruption, 3 years jail !!!, two of them suspended, and the one remaining can be spent at home with a tag !!, that'll teach him. He is appealing, so maybe it will be proved to be too harsh, kt

The police here looking into the alleged rape by a politician have said there is insufficient evidence to go any further with it.
But the Labor opposition still want his name revealed.

This is more a case of do not worry about the truth, just destroy the man and maybe the gov with him.

Supposed to have happened 30 years ago when the girl was 16, if it is the case he should be brought to justice, but, being the girl\woman committed suicide last year it will be a very difficult task, we will have to wait for the coroners verdict.
