Face masks.
Went out in public this morning wearing a face mask for the first time in public . Pondered before going out that it wasn’t so long back that various governments had tried to make illegal the wearing of veils on women’s faces of a certain religion.
Whilst out tried to admire the various colours and the small attempts some artists had tried to adorn
Theirs with.
Is noticeable the lack of entrenapaurs who have yet to see the profits that could be made, e.g. lack of red , white and blue ensigns to name just a few.
There was obviously a difference in cost of those wearing masks as some like mine had a miserable bit of elastic around the ears, whilst others had more sustainable straps.
Obviously face masks are class conscious as well.
There was one noticeable fact however. Some people looked very attractive wearing them and made you wonder what the rest of the face looked like, especially the women.
Tough luck though if you are cross eyed.
In time these masks will be collectors items we all hope. We had at least Mickey Mouse ones during the war.

Re: Face masks.
Read earlier here that: Roads could soon be made of FACE MASKS:
Scientists are near engineering a stronger concrete-like material
using recycled surgical face coverings.

Re: Face masks.
John we had to wear them for so long here in Victoria we thought they had grown on us.
Then we were told no more, you can take them off.
Big problem now, I do not recognise anyone with out one now.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Yes it must be hard to remember how ugly some people were. Getting back to mirrors there will be more deaths due to shock. Stand by for another pandemic. JS

Always look on the bright side of life. Think of the money saved on make up.

Cheeky Chops haven’t heard of that one for years. Due to Louis non de plume , I always think of him as of Spanish origin , as Spanish fly. Jumps to mind. Maybe if transfer cheeky chops to Spanish he may take note Marian. JS

Re: Face masks.
For many men looking on the bright side is getting harder by the day. Wives and girlfriends make up free, hairdressers, nail bars and beauty parlours closed. Boob jobs and tummy tucks cancelled. To make matters even worse China has massively increased the price of inflatable dolls. A special medal should be issued to all the men in lockdown.

#9 that'll be good news coming from China for those given the task of emptying certain inflatable items aboard ships of the line.
