Re: santa clause
Good one Keith, hope you are keeping safe.
I often wonder what people think when they buy Xmas presents. My daughter for example bought me the forecastle bell from H.M.A.S. Sydney, not the real one obviously, but a full size replica. Last Xmas she bought me a Port Hole which included the heavy glass and the brass threaded screws. My wife is now worried that next Xmas she will turn up with a full size anchor, my wardrobe floor wont stand it.

Re: santa clause
John, you wouldn't believe what she can find in this more or less isolated town. I know we don't get about like we used to but jees we I think we will need to put up a huge fence, on saying that she is the best daughter anyone could have, if we have a trip up or a small cut she is knocking on the door before we get the Plasters out.

Re: santa clause
Des have you got one of these electrified tennis rackets , you get at Bunnings for a few dollars . Someone bought me one , we have had 2 persistent flies in the house at the moment and every time I pick up the racket they disappear , so I am walking around with a tennis racket in hand anyone calling at the house will think I’m getting ready for the tennis season, wishful thinking ! JS.
