Normally the Russian crew would have left the ship on our arrival , but due to national interests they had to stay on board . Russian ships for those who don’t know dont believe in reduced manning ,so an Australian crew of 10 had to fit in on a small vessel which already had 45 onboard , I managed to come to an agreement with the Russian master on a TV screen ,and my only insistence was that I took a medical assistant with me with the crew plus all the drugs written in English for the ships medical locker. The Russian master I became great buddies with . However all this claptrack about business meetings very rarely applies to seamen .The ship went like clockwork even though communications between certain people was hampered, cheers JS.
I know what its like, my last supply boat had united nations crew, but we got the job done (despite the nutter who was master - US flag=US master), fortunately his replacement was good a ole Texas boy who was good at his job

Re: Where all human beings.
Terry, agree dig deep enough, you will find something on our elite.
No kid should go hungry in this and age, sometimes I wonder if the problem is over exaggerated.
Every time BBC show as a so called undernourished kid, they always seem to be on the large side.

Re: Where all human beings.
Obesity amongst kids is a BIG Problem
Today they get around £20 a week to feed each one of their kids.,
If a child is Hungry, then Prosecute the Parent for neglect
I was a child in the 1930s and 40s and during WW2, FOOD RATIONED,
We never went hungry.
No Benefits, No Child Allowance. NOTHING
