We did a supermarket order and orange juice we ordered and paid for didn’t arrive. Contacted the supermarket and they’ve asked us to send them picture of missing items.

Re: inventions and lifestyles
Victoria, you are correct there.
The 60's saw the world emerge from the horror of WW2, rationing and other things had all gone, there was a great feeling of optimisim in the air.
New music, clothes styles, hair cuts and so many other things.
But most of all a feeling of freedom, it was an ear the world may never see again with the way it is now, and not just as a result of the virus.

Re: inventions and lifestyles
Music has always been a huge part in my life. I enjoy listening to the boogie woogie jazz bands of the 20s and 30s. Early rock & roll from Fats Domino, Little Richard and Jerry Lee Lewis in the 50s. Then I was lucky enough to be part of the greatest decade of all, the swinging 60s. A massive musical explosion which took over the world, an end of conformity, dress the way you wanted be yourself. Happy smiling people, peace and love, freedom, flower power. This continued into the 70s, the greatest rock bands we have ever seen filling the world stadiums.
What goes up must come down and we came down with a bang. The 80s hit us, greed became good, unemployment, riots and decimation of cities and towns. Pretty boys in make up took over the stage until replaced briefly by the punks. The good times were over.

Re: inventions and lifestyles
Louis you are so correct on that one.
The music of that era and some from earlier still get played regularly here on a couple of radio stations and seen on U tube.
Some of what they now call music is nothing short of just screetching.
The music of yesteryear is still being played often up to 70 or 80 years after first being heard.
Somehow I do not think much of the stuff today will last that long.

Victoria, if they're in that often, I'd buy a new tap, unless you've got an ulterior motive
