The Filmdectective site has quite a range of good old Movies , not on Ships but some worth watching, like one of my old Favourites that made Jane Russel , called 'The Outlaw" was actually banned in South Africa after only 3 screenings, due to the scene with her in the Barn , i was one lucky Lad to have seen it by then LOL

Vernon i imagine if you new the words to search for that is a very good site, There was a documentary film made by the BBC Mid 60s called the concrete ship which was a great insight into the lives and training of Deck and Catering 16 year olds in Gravesend Kent. Would dearly love to watch it any ideas anyone Terry.
