    I have a number of Snobow discs and along with the bits shown here on site there is one common theme.
    The style of music in the background and the style of voice of the commentators.
    Obviously a style of the times then.

    Keith, Yes your on the right tack mate, But the one i am talking about runs for about an hour and takes in the dormitories and a better insight into what we lads got up to in both work and what little leisure we had, There was the Flying Angel club yards from the school the only access to a T.V. Pool table, Darts, Ping pong, And on occasion tea and biscuits. Happy days mate Terry.

    Biscuits? biscuits? you were spoiled then, hardly ever saw biscuits at sea, apart from when on American flag and they were something else, instant dehydration, bit like powdered cream crackers.

    Tony, Everyone used to put there name forward for Sunday Mass, Because after mass it was regular for the ministers wife to hand out tea and biscuits. So there was a small price to pay Terry.

    Yes Terry mate, and on some ships it was Sunday mess if the cook had a bad Saturday night. LOL
