    Default Flying the flag.

"Said with tongue in cheek". For those of us who fly the Red Ensign from a flagpole in our garden.
Being in isolation, would it not be more appropriate to fly the yellow Quarantine flag . cheers

Or the black Isis flag, that would keep people away, and your own security watch, kt

John, I done a quick Supermarket dash for a few essentials yesterday, There was a guy in front of me i noticed he was rattling quiet as a mouse, I followed him around after watching him pick up and down a half bottle of Vodka, Then the cheeky bugger opened a can of cider and downed that, He was chatting away to everyone as he made his way to the checkout and bought a strip of Wrigley's gum i had to admire his bottle or rather Gaul bugger me he must have been desperate for that drink.

Can see his logic RLT by cleansing his innards with alcohol then taking the taste away with cider LOL. I too took the sheriff just now to the supermarket and lined up to get in only for one of them to push a packet of dunny rolls into the sheriffs hands. Must have been the crap look I had on my boat race that they thought I needed to wipe of LOL. Is it the same with you lot. Only allowed so many in the shop and have to pack your own bag unless you purchase a new one. I usually enter through the self serve and pick up a bag on the way in as still have an aversion to paying for something that used to be free. Mind you was keeping a close eye on the sheriff just in case she got mugged for the dunny paper. Came in handy as the son is running low and we still have half a dozen rolls.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

    Hi Les.
Just been up to Woolies, bloody car park was full, wife said turn around not going in there, the only explanation we could think of was early Easter shopping, this arvo will go to the butchers as long as they haven't stripped him for the Easter Barbies.

Three days in supermarkets to stay away from.
Easter Saturday, they all go mad looking for marked down eggs the shop wants to get rid of.
Boxing day, they have not been in a shop for all of one day and the number of dunny rolls sold that day would make the present situation look like, doddle.
New years day, same as boxing day.

I spent some time working in them back in the 80's and a mate of mine who manages one now said it is still like that now.
    Happy daze John in Oz.
