Re: By royal appointment
I think this is a big cover up, the Queen asked the two of them to go their ways; as she loves Harry and Meghan like no other. she told them that the Balcony at the Palace was getting too full. She has asked for some more building props to be put underneath in case of a collapse, while they peruse the options of using the roof to hold all the bludgers, that seem to be increasing every year.

Re: By royal appointment
I believe they have a one year escape clause,
if things do not work out, they could be welcomed
back to the firm.

Re: By royal appointment
The Queen's Megxit annual review: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's commercial dealings will be assessed in one year to ensure they remain in line with the monarchy's values - as questions over Duchy money, protection and the use of their titles remain.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are to be known as Harry, Duke of Sussex, and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex
Last night's statement from the Queen said they will 'not use their HRH titles', suggesting it had been revoked
But the Palace and Sussex households have now been accused of purposefully fudging the statement
It transpired Harry and Meghan have not been stripped of the title, but have just agreed not to deploy it
This sparked concern they could row back on their pledge if doing so could bolster their commercial brand

As one person said many years ago,
'We live in interesting times"
Time will tell as to how all of this proceeds, may work, may not.

Re: By royal appointment
If they have scooted off to Vancouver island for a bit of privacy, they have got that bit wrong, already photos of Megan and baby have appeared on the internet and photographers are camped outside the property they are staying in.

If they thought that by going to Canada they would escape the media then all I can say is that they are very naïve.
The media live under rocks and crawl out like the scum they are.

Re: By royal appointment
I was a reluctant viewer (Wendy wanted to watch it) of the interview with Thomas Markle, he didn't strike me as being a bum, but a very doting father from the photos and videos in his possession, and she a doting daughter. It looks like in the engagement of his daughter he had become overwhelmed and led astray by the Press attention he received and also misquoted by them, and those of us who have had dealings with the Press know how that feels. Who knows how any of us would have reacted suddenly faced with one of our offspring becoming engaged to an immediate royal. Perhaps in their present situation H & M will come to realise that perhaps Thomas Markle isn't the ogre they are portraying him as, but is as much a victim of publicity as they seem to think they are.

Those that feed on such rubbish are no better than those who publish.
But they will not find it easy in Canada, far from it.
Could be that at the end of the trial period they want to go back home.
