The Moon
Well after all the Terrible Fires (Still a lot Burning though) the Skies went a very scary colour with the Reddish Brown Haze ,but with the Strong Winds at about 5PM here it seemed to blow away and left the Sky clear.
Later on the Moon glowed a Bright Full Moon, and i managed to capture a lovely Pic with my Nikon Coolpix 900 a really fantastic Camera with a great Zoom 83X Wide Optical Zoom. This was taken hand held no Tripod,i guess a steady old hand ! LOL

Re: The Moon
Hi Victoria
Well also glad that you will be able to go up to see the Family.
Not too bad out here at this time ,but still a lot of Fires in many Areas around NSW as you may well know
A few small things packed and will stay packed untill the Weather (When) breaks to more favorable conditions. Still a few more very hot days on the forecast, but thankfully no Winds predicted! So that will help
But for now can rest easy for the time being
Cheers
PS I am not one for overbear punishment ,but these that light Fires just for fun,in my opinion should get the Book thrown at them, not like in the past as i recall a few cases that the persons caught were just given either a few Months or Community Service orders, what the ____
Lock them up for a long long time i say! Minimun 10 Years!

Re: The Moon
Vernon, Blackheath was mentioned in our news here regarding the fires which according to the latest report have been down graded in some areas.
It is a very scary time for all in such areas, stay or go, sometimes a very hard choice, but thankfully you will be OK.
Good photo of the moon, where is the man ?????
Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: The Moon
Regarding the recent bush fires an interesting bit in the news today.
Over the last 100 years of all the ten worst bush fires in that time, nine were in Victoria.
Happy daze John in Oz.
