    Default Unbelievable

A young girl playing on a Lilo off the coast of Cornwall was swept out to sea. An RNLI rescue copter was scrambled, a crewman jumped into the sea and held her while she was winched into the copter, she was landed safe and well.
Did the parents thank the RNLI or the crew?- NO- they asked for £7 the cost of the Lilo that the crew left behind. A firm but polite refusal was given.

Two weeks later the family invoiced the RNLI for £7 the cost of the Lilo, RNLI response, happy to pay, provide you pay £7,000 the cost of the helicopter rescue.

Makes you wonder about some people.

    Hi Vic
I'm surprised they didn't ask them, what took you so long.
A father and his little girl of five were rescued in the snow fields down here, they were in a deep ravine in snow up to his waist, been for a walk he said, despite warnings of an impending blizzard, which struck as the rescuers got to them. I think some people are off another planet, Planet Facebook,

When in Darwin we had 'boaties' regularly calling on radio as they had run out of petrol and when cans were dropped by RAAF they refused to return the cans.

Did a survey on a new boat one day, and told him to change the side lights as they pointed skywards not to the sides. His reply was that the way he needed them as he had called in the RAAF several times for fuel.

The RNLI should go ahead and
bill these people the £7,000 and
pos deduct seven quid for an early payment.
