Saw this on bargain hunt yesterday. Very appropriate for this time of year. Who was Edwin Beard Budding? He was the man who invented the Cylindrical Lawn Mower in 1830, it put a lot of men with scythes out of work. Sounds familliar.

I suppose this could be a British invention. A boy who was in school with me back in Wales, who; though he lives out here in Aus you can say is British; invented the handle less tap, you just put your hands under and the water runs, remove them and the water stops, he got a Gold Medal at a big convention in Geneva a few years ago.
