    Default Teeth and other things.

Ref, to other post where teeth came into the equation and upset the equilibrium of the post. Cappy at 79 claims to have all his teeth which in itself is a marvel, well done Cappy ,I noticed you didn’t take them out to show me last July. However you have the best to come yet, which is just around the corner, thought this little jingle might help you over the rough patches.

Old age is Golden, or so I’ve heard it said,
But sometimes I wonder as I crawl into bed,
With my ears in a drawer, my teeth in a cup,
My glasses on the table until I get up.
As sleep dims my vision ,
    I say to myself ,
Is there anything else I should leave on the shelf.
The reason I know my youth is all spent,
Is my-get up and go, has got up and went!,
But in spite of it all,
    I’m able to grin,
And think of the places my Get-Up has been!

Weekend again off. To Shields ? Beware of black hairy palms.
    Cheers JS

    HI John
I'm rejuvenating, I have only lost four of my back teeth, I have ditched my glasses for driving, I slipped on a step ladder and raked down the front of my leg, bad trauma and a decent hole but recovered very quickly according to her indoors, I do have hearing assistance but it's very handy for not hearing things you want to ignore, like "When are you going to cut the lawn" that gets bigger everytime I see it. I find my finger nails are growing at an alarming rate and I don't even bite them anymore. I've ditched my old torn jeans and bought some new ones which got me a hooray from my sweetheart. Fair suck of the sav, Like I say I'm rejuvenating.
    Cheers Des

Des are you sure you were not a practicer of Buddhism , and you are on another innings. Does your wife still look familiar to you. Some. Times when I see these self change sex artists I sometimes think they have jumped the queue and got here at the wrong moment in time. This meditation bit has got me thinking I was an Indian in a previous existence and the meditation bit is hereditary, and in my genes , not the Raggy ones you threw away I hope. Cheers JS

I still have all my own teeth, most are in a little box where they were put one a ta time.
Currently I have burned knees and feet from working on the roof, those tiles can get hot, hotter than I thought.

But generally in good health, not fallen off my ladder for over six months now, but the last time at least I did no damage to it, getting better at it.
Selective hearing is a very good thing to have, you only listen to what suits you.

    A man visits his dentist.

Dentist. "How can I help you today?"

Man. "I have very bad toothache in a back tooth left side at the top"

Dentist. "OK let me see if I can find the problem"

The man takes out his top teeth and hands them to the dentist.

Dentist. "Oh yes you need a filling , this is what causing the pain. I can use our new invisible fillings and you will not even notice".

The man waits until the dentist calls him back in.

Dentist. "Right try this now and tell me if the ache has gone".

Man. "That's wonderful the toothache has gone and I didn't feel a thing you are an excellent dentist".

Dentist. "Thank you I am always pleased to help , that will be £250 pay the receptionist on your way out".

Must have been all those gold fillings you usd to have, and Pat conceived the plan of the electric chipper to relieve you of them. Did she go on an expensive holiday shortly after.? Was 42 the other day here so have stopped wearing a vest. Well the woolly one at least, just joking. Just keep saying it’s not the cough that carries you off, it’s the coffin they carry you off in. Will give you the will to survive. Try building an igloo in the back yard next snowfall, they reckon it’s warmer than living in that draughty shed you do your pennance in. Cheers all the best. JS
