Thankfully. the nine-month-old baby
was unhurt.

Not a good few days in the press for the Royals.
Apparently, Royal gamekeeper 'hit motorist across the head with a stick as he shouted 'Mind my dogs you f***ing peasant!' on Queen's Sandringham estate' report is next is the next headline.

We did hear the lady wants an apology from HRH.
Why, this was just another motor accident where the usual exchange of details would take place.
She is not special just because HRH banged into her.
The non seat belt was later and on the private estate.
This lady had no reason to exchange details as she was a passenger. The driver appears to be ollowing the usual advice.
Yesterday, the Duke was driving west on a public single-track road towards the hamlet of West Newton, just south of Sandringham, when he was spotted without a seatbelt. He was photographed in his new Land Rover as he drew up to the junction of the narrow road and the B1440, where he turned right. After driving north on the B-road for a quarter of a mile, he turned off into the Sandringham Estate.

liability that is the question police and insurance investigators will and should sort this out not the press and how much will they pay by news rags this lady driver could be in the wrong who knows was any of us out there at the time? jp
Sorry John, the lady driver seems to be complying, the lady
in the press was a passenger, it may seem trivial but, just
trying to get the facts right, otherwise anything may sway
others to believe the wrong person is dealing with the media.
I would imagine the actual lady driver has been told not to
discuss with all and sundry.

If you read your insurance policy I am absolutely certain that everyone I have had said you are not to have any discussion with the other driver about the accident and you're certainly not to admit any liability . To send flowers at apology and anything else would be taken as an admission of guilt which would be in contravention of the average insurance policy assuming that the Queen is insured .
What we are facing is the woman passenger is obviously enjoying her 10 minutes of fame and milk in the Press And the TV for every penny she can we seem to have too much of this I want to be a celebrity put me on the news paper in this day and age
As to the lack of seatbelts I would anticipate that having been rolled over and a Land Rover that it will be some damage to the Duke of Edinburgh's ribs and I would think that he would have good medical justification for not putting his seatbelt on at 97 I think he has done an absolutely Stirling service to this country for the last 60 years so why the press are targeted in now I think it's very sad leave the guy alone let him enjoy his retirement
Of course we don't know the facts, but if EITHER party were driving in a dangerous manner . the law should take its course, no one has the right to drive in a dangerous manner, and the appropriate punishment for such should follow, and that's my unbiassed view, kt
I wonder if it would've been Jeremy Corbyn and not the Duke who was in the accident what the reaction would be of those who have posted on this.It would appear that nobody on here has ever broken the speed limit, to upright to take money off the press. The point is he pulled out of a side road which puts him in the wrong right away so why the hue and cry to hang the woman driver out to dry.Not one word has been said in her defence.
Regards.
