    #17 & #18 Basil Lubbock's The China Clippers P.223-224 Captain Moodie gives details of how they fitted the rudder. Would copy but book is still inprint!

    I remember them just up from a bit Gravesend pier, I was in and out of Tilbury49/50 and used to go over to Gravesend for my shopping.

    I did see the Cutty Sark as well on one of my Trips to the UK and must say it was a very impressive sight!

    I also saw the the Training Ship Tenacious which was launched I 2000 another lovely Ship,i do have a pic of her somewhere but have to search through all my Photos Mmmmm! Hundreds if not Thousands ~ LOL

    Part of my involvement 2013: Veterans honoured at Merchant Navy stamp launch.

    A collection of stamps featuring historic ships has gone on sale to commemorate the Merchant Navy and the veterans who served on the ships.

    The launch event was held on the historic tea clipper the Cutty Sark, as former Merchant Navy veterans gathered to remember their time on the boats.
