I thought this when the 1st post went up because of the location similar to where Lewis from but did not know he had been banished only that he had been very quiet, usually liked to play the devils advocate. Rgds Den

Look at the facts, the United Nations are suddenly bleating about Putin's defiance of Nato pushing ever closer to its border, for years the UN has kept silent about the US aggression against multiple countries, the slaughter that went on in Iran, the US even want to get even with the bloke in London who exposed all their war crimes. The UN has said nothing for years about the treatment of Venezuela and Cuba by the US, suddenly they are awake.
Putin gave that idiot comedian time to sign an agreement that they would not join Nato, but he procrastinated to long. You only have to look at a world map to see the creep of Nato surrounding the Western Frontier of Russia, if that coup had succeeded in Belarus they would have moved in there.
Economically that Gas pipeline that Russia has just finished, [strike anyone as odd this has happened now it's finished? } would have been a blow to the US sending it's gas to Europe, also making the EU dependant on Russian Gas. We know so little about the machinations of political fiddling world wide, we are but pawns.

Putin has the West just where he wants it.
One third of the worlds oil is from Russia, EU rely on gas from there.
China is staying silent, they want to see how it plays out so they know what will happen when they take Taiwan back, and they will.

This could well be the begining of tje end for US domminace in many ways, financial, products etc.
China and Russia as a combination can take over, China now manufactures about half of what we use, Russia with oil and gas needed by so many.

Sleepy Joe will with UN and NATO along with many nations may impose sanctions, they will do very little to solve the matter.
The people of Russia may go without for some time but in the knowledge that at the end they will be the winners.

Sleepy joe, along with all the others will not declare war as it could well be a nuclear one and no one will win from that.

So they all sit back, call him names, impose improbable sanctions while he sits in the kremlin and laughs at us all.

Since the end of WW Russia and USA Have been at war in some form or another, this is the one Russia will finally win.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

What ever the reasons, opinions, etc, the one thing for certain is we have reached a very dangerous situation for the whole world, this is the nearest to a nuclear war since Cuba, if they start fling nucs about, no matter where you live in the world it will not be good. we better hope that sense will prevail, kt

Whatever your opinion of Boris Johnson is, what a premiership he has had, exiting the EU, closely followed by a world pandemic, and now the Ukraine problem. I think he is certainly earning his wages, at least we have not got someone who is wishy washy, lol

I think the security of both Russian and Western key people in the political world will have quadrupled in the past 2 days , as John P. Says they will all have targets on their back . Will put Harry’s want of protection into the beginners school, and be the cry baby of the many other genuine ones . JS .

Once the capital is taken, within the next couple of days, Putin will put his own gov in and that will be it.

No matter how many sanctions are put on the oil will still flow as will the gas.
A lot of what the west is declaring will be little more than window dressing.

As to Putin being charged with war crimes, catch him first the tell the world how to deal with him.
    It 'aint that easy.
