Trump is the elected President of the USA, his policies are nothing to do with the UK.
President Obhama instigated the ****** immigration policies in 2011, no out cries.

Obhama also instigated the Policy of splitting families as the entered the USA, no complaints then.

I don't necessarily agree with his policies, but he does say what he thinks. something we could do with in our talks with the EU.
Our opposition leader, would rather welcome murders and terrorists, than potential people he could do business with.

Have no fear about the unbiased BBC .What with that Scottish/European Laura Kuenssberg and Welshman Huw Edwards sneering at either end then all reporting from Aunty Beeb will be in equilibrium. Then, according to that D/G of the Beeb Tony Hall ,'that stalwart Titan of the BBC Question Time programme David Dimbleby will be irreplaceable when he (Dimblebooby) leaves later in the year.' I have a suggestion to replace him,how about that soon to retire current Speaker of the House of Commons, that oh-so-unbiased John Bercow.Just the ticket ,and he can pretend to control the hired in Jeremy Corbyn-Abbott 'Renta mob 'by gently whispering "Order, order" to them every time they heckle a Tory guest.
The BBC's' unbiasedness' is so flagrantly flawed ,don't you think.

I would like to say that the ITV's Political Editor ,Robert Peston might be better, but I'm afraid I can't understand a word he's saying. Sentences left hanging in the air, inappropriate emphasis on the strangest of words ,accompanied by unfathomable face contortions. It would be like sitting in the dayroom of an old folks home at Victoria sponge caketime ,and I'm not ready for that just yet,no sir.

You remind me of one of the old type bosuns I used to sail with, although you're probably more like my age now ! I'm sorry to hear you have had such adversity healthwise over the last few years.Well done you for facing them head on.
I used to enjoy reading on here posts about ships and research items ,although I wasn't a member here back then.
It is a bit cliquey on here I think, but one of the members here has become a good friend now,in fact we 'sailed ' together, albeit briefly and in a training dinghy ! back at college about 50 years ago.Where did it all go.
Apart from Captain King Kong there were members like John Sabourn, and a lady researcher from Scotland, and Hugh,I think from up there also, and good old Gulliver ,I 'm sure he was ex-Bibby's.I have recently seen him on another recent site,I won't mention that site's name, but he seems as cheerful as ever and I hope he continues to write some interesting features there. According to my friend here, this site is somewhat poorer from the lack of such posters that I have mentioned.
Anyway I just wanted to acknowledge your post John.

make you welcome, seems after a couple of weeks you report from your friend here, that this site is somewhat poorer from the lack of such posters that you have mentioned.

I do hope that if you stay that you may decide for yourself, possibly the moderating team can assist you with your discharge book number and more.

if we all ignored party politics and stopped trotting out party rhetoric and worked together to free us from Europe I am sure the outcome would be much improved , for we must amuse the eurocrats with petty bickering , democracy ruled and said , out , no customs union , no European court , remainers like me , well we need to suck it up , we lost .

I have no respect for Trump as I consider him to be a self seeking bully. He loves being the centre of attention and the f...wit greens etc are too stupid to realise that they are doing him a favour. If the press ignored him for a week he would go berserk. Just ignore the bully. A little worried if he ever realises that North Korea are playing him for the fool he is.

Just wish we had a leader in the UK with his attitude, that being do it my way if you want to trade with the USA. What have we got in the UK , groups of politicians who are only interested in there own political careers be they on the benches to the right or left in Westminster. What was that old cartoon character Wimpy !!!!! I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a Hamburger today!!!! Oh I see another cabinet minister has resigned over the weekend !!!! why? because he has been sending tweets to two female constituents of a sexual nature, honestly are these politicians still that bloody stupid to be doing things like this in this day and age.

the fact that he has filed 4 times for chapter 11 Bankruptcy , as a good business decision , makes me doubt him , he was the best of a bad choice , I have little respect for misogynistic egotists , but less time for Hilary , we have in the UK possibly the best choice from a non charismatic bunch, name a better choice

Well chuckle away sir,as I do too, rather difficult to do at times with one's tongue stuck firmly in cheek. Now,this may make you laugh, and please don't read it whilst you're gorging yoursellf on a huge mouthful of sponge cake in that old folks dayroom- -I actually support, and have done for many years the ( a shock-horror stage whisper here )-the GREEN PARTY ! Myself and the better half ,Mona (and she often does, believe me -she'll hate that, but she won't read it as she doesn't know I'm on this site) absolutely loathe, par example, the concept of frackers and fracking,so the very idea of supporting a right wing government is unthinkable, you see.

No,and you seem to have missed the gist ,my comment was in reply to a statement about BBC bias, but in light of your comment why not redress the balance and compile a Labour Party political broadcast-and make us all laugh !
If I could work out how to insert a winking smiley into that last sentence I would, but I 'm not as clever as I thought on computer stuff.I'll ask Tamsin or Reuben my lovely grandchildren when they return from Orlando next week. They put us oldies to shame on technical stuff.I thought I was the bees knees back in the 70's when I was able to work out my sun and star sight calculations using a slide rule.I used to laugh at my own dear Dad who quite often used an abacus to work out/fiddle his own travel expenses.(I exaggerate a bit there, because I think he had a calculator.)He would often ,in the early stages, toss it aside when it came up with the result he didn't want.We had to tell him "No Dad,it 's because you've been pressing the wrong buttons ,to which his reply was usually "Oh you know-alls,you're learning far too much at those private schools " ,although of course he was paying for it all and was probably inwardly chuffed with his brats)

Anyway, looking forward to hearing your unbiased Labour Party political broadcast.

    Kind Regards
    Graham

I say , there is no need to apologise for being a Green , you are entitled to free speech here , when speech is nationalised by John McDonald it will no longer be free , it will be heavily taxed , so enjoy the privilege , like Transport for London's big red buses , privileges are a rare sight and often late in delivery but nevertheless green transportation , so Red is the new green to you Londoners
