The Labor left in any country will sell their soul if they have to just to get votes in the hope of gaining office.
Heaven help us if they ever do.

They work on the principal I am convinced that the people will be stupid enough to fall for their socialistic ideology.
What the people who vote for them fail to understand is that at some point in time all this generosity must be paid for.
But of course by then they are on the outer and the gov of the day becomes unpopular raising taxes to pay for it all.

So I now know how stupid I have been all these years because I could not see that the Liberals or right wing parties had all the answers to our whoe's. Think there are stilll millions of us out there waiting for the first drip from the trickle down economics to occur. Thank you for opening my eyes. As they say? Politicians and nappies should be changed often for the same reason.

All politicians of any party all think they have the answers to a future utopia and all are living in cloud cuckoo land. Their job is to keep the roads workable, the hospitals available , our armed forces viable. Protect the borders and enforce them if necessary. Keep law and order. And let the rest like water find its own level. And stop dishing out money which really isn’t theirs to every Tom Dick and Harry. They have proven how incompetent they are by the present situation they are in. They are all beaurocrats living on cloud nine hoping for things to change as necessary and make them appear in a different light to others. JWS

When it comes to politics I don't care if they're left wing or right wing they all seem to be capable of getting a snout in the trough helping themselves and blindly forgetting the people that put them there . The way things are going I'm all for reinstating the monarchy

Then here in Victoria we have a state gov run by what can only be called a dictator.

He is going to give the AFL, richest sporting body in the country, a $400 mil hand out to improve a sporting ground that was only built 18 years ago.
We have homeless, hungry and helpless and he does this???

But of course being a sports mad nation and a state election due in November this will appeal to the fans.
